Overview

Closet World helps homeowners create more organized, functional spaces through custom storage solutions for closets, garages, offices, pantries, laundry rooms, and more. With personalized designs and a wide range of styles and accessories, the brand turns everyday spaces into solutions built around how people live, work, and organize their homes.

The Challenge

When every home is different, the digital experience needs to be flexible too.

Closet World offers solutions for many areas of the home, from walk-in and reach-in closets to garages, home offices, pantries, laundry rooms, and other specialty spaces.

That variety gives customers plenty of possibilities. But it also creates a digital challenge.

A visitor might arrive knowing exactly what they want. Someone else might simply know that their home needs better organization. Both should be able to find a useful starting point without navigating a large catalogue first.

The website needed to make several things clear:

  • What spaces can Closet World transform?
  • What type of solution is right for my space?
  • How much can I customize?
  • What styles and finishes are available?
  • How does the design process work?
  • What happens after I request a consultation?
  • How do I take the next step?

Closet World isn’t simply selling storage components. Its value lies in creating a space around each customer’s needs, preferences, and lifestyle. The digital experience needed to communicate that personalization from the very first interaction.

What We Focused On

01 – Space-Based Discovery

Customers don’t usually think in product categories first. They think about the space they want to improve. We made the space itself a natural entry point, allowing visitors to start with their problem and discover relevant solutions.

02 – Showing the Possibilities

Customization is central to Closet World’s offering. Collections, finishes, hardware, shelving, drawers, lighting, accessories, and configurations create flexibility. We presented these choices as part of an inspiration journey rather than a technical catalogue – letting visitors explore, imagine the finished space, then customize and plan from there.

03 – Making the Consultation Journey Clear

Customers want to know what happens next. We made the path toward consultation more visible, connecting each call to action to where the visitor actually was – exploring a space, finding inspiration, understanding the process, or ready to request a consultation.

04 – Creating a More Aspirational Experience

Home organization is functional, but the reason people invest in it is often emotional. They want a calmer, more useful home. We wanted the website to show that shift in daily life—not just the products that make it possible.

Our Role

UX Strategy

We established the experience framework and key UX principles for the project.

UI Design

We developed the interface and visual language across the core digital experience.

Product Storytelling

We shaped how Closet World’s offerings were organized and presented across the website.

Web Development

We built and integrated the designed experience into the final website.

Our Approach

We started with how people think about their homes, not with how to present everything Closet World offers. The real question was simpler: what does a homeowner want to see before deciding to transform a space?

A customer isn’t necessarily looking for a shelving system or cabinet configuration – they’re looking for a better way to use their space, moving naturally from inspiration to a solution they can act on.

This helped us connect product discovery with the bigger customer goal: creating a home that feels more organized and works better for everyday life.

Our Process

Understand → Structure → Design → Refine

The goal wasn’t to add more content. It was to make the existing information easier to discover and give every stage of the customer journey a clear purpose.

Understand — DibStudio’s team looked at Closet World’s audience, spaces, product categories, customization options, consultation journey, and the different reasons people visit the website.

Structure — We organized the experience around how customers explore home organization – starting with their space, then moving toward solutions, inspiration, and consultation.

Design — We created a visual experience that puts finished spaces and possibilities at the centre while keeping navigation, content, and calls to action easy to follow.

Refine — We reviewed the complete journey to remove unnecessary friction and make the transition from exploration to consultation feel natural.

Turning Storage Solutions Into Experiences

Custom Closets

The experience helps visitors explore solutions designed around their wardrobe, available space, storage habits, and preferences.

Custom Garages

Garage organization can create room for tools, equipment, vehicles, hobbies, and everyday household items.

Home Offices

A dedicated workspace needs to balance productivity, storage, and comfort. The experience presents home office solutions as part of a broader lifestyle need.

Other Spaces

Pantries, laundry rooms, entryways, wardrobes, Murphy beds, and specialty spaces extend Closet World's offering beyond traditional closet design. The challenge was to make this broad portfolio feel connected while giving each space enough room to tell its own story.

What We Delivereds

UX/UI Design

A customer-focused experience structured around spaces, solutions, inspiration, and conversion journeys.

Website Design

Clearer pathways for visitors to find solutions based on the space they want to organize.

Information Architecture

A more intuitive structure for navigating spaces, collections, customization options, and supporting information.

Conversion-Focused Journeys

Clear pathways designed to move visitors from inspiration and exploration toward consultation.

Responsive Experience

A consistent digital experience designed for desktop, tablet, and mobile users.

The Result

From product discovery to a more personal digital journey.

DibStudio helped shape a digital experience that makes Closet World’s broad range of solutions easier to explore while keeping the customer’s personal needs at the centre.

Instead of forcing every visitor through the same path, the experience gives them different ways to begin. They can start with a space, explore a design, look for inspiration, learn about the process, or move directly toward a consultation.
That flexibility makes the experience more useful for different types of homeowners while keeping the overall journey focused.
